1 ton dually or Medium Duty for large 5er?
We're looking at large 5ers and these things are HEAVY. I know a 1 ton dually diesel will get them moving down the road and that's not what I'm worried about. I'm worried about getting the rig stopp...

A friend pulled into a dog trial I was at about a year ago.. Pulling his LQ horse trailer with a brand new Peterbuilt..
Talking with him, he said that he wasn't sure he was going to keep it.
He was having trouble finding insurance on it for less than 10K a year!!. He also said that his Dually pulled it better, but of course the Peterbuilt had better brakes.
At the last trial, he no longer had it.
Check on the insurance, before taking the leap.
