As mentioned, know that they are the same chassis as 3rd gen Rams. Not a bad thing and very heavy duty, but Ram upped the ante in 2014 with a new chassis.
I would also not consider deleted to be a bad thing if you're not subject to emissions testing and out of warranty. In fact it cleans up the injection events by getting rid of the in cyl egr and results in the same mileage and performance of the late 5.9s that are so desirable. Thousands of deleted diesels running around that are not tuned, hot riddled or run to death as stated above. - DodgeVoltageExplorer

I have a '10 3500 dually. As far as the engine setup, it can't be beat. Smooth, reliable and powerful. The mileage will be 8-10 mpg if your camper is very large. I get a little over 8 mpg pulling 19,000 lbs. I get about 15.5 mpg just daily driving. Not great, but it is a heavy truck. - spoon059Explorer II

While I don't necessarily advocate for deleting trucks, if one was going to do it, this era truck would be a great candidate. The EGR system is especially dirty these years and requires a lot of maintenance. The DPF, if not properly worked, can clog up and be an expensive repair.
Deleting these emissions systems can get you more power, better fuel economy and more reliability... but at the cost of significantly higher NOX output per gallon. Depending upon how you feel about the EPA, you may or may not care. You could argue that a 2007 diesel engine can legally produce the same amount of NOX, so what's the big deal... or you could argue that the significant reduction in NOX is a worthwhile benefit for a minor setback in mileage and power. - IdaDExplorer

How heavy/big of a 5th wheel? Generally 3500 SRW are much better for 5th wheels vs 2500's.

A SRW 3500 is nearly identical to a 2500, unless the 3500 is an Aisin. Same truck with a lighter rear spring pack, and you can supplement that and get the same end result - door tag be damned.

Not anymore, no coil spring is going to match a leaf spring suspension. Times have changed RAM has taken two different roads with the 2500/3500's! Chris
You won't ever convince him of that. We've had this row to hoe before and it's starting again. What the engineers say, the door payload numbers, different designations by the manufacturer, etc all say doesn't matter. What I'm wondering is if I make a few mods if I can somehow make my 3500 magically be a 4500??? Seems to work for 2500's.
Well if you don't understand that class 2 and 3 trucks are for most intents and purposes the same vehicle then there's no convincing you either. Chassis, running gear, wheels etc are generally the same with the exception of rear suspension and in Ram's case another trans is offered in 3500s.
Class 4 trucks are generally a completely different chassis and as diesels, de tuned. Iirc, this is not true for some F450s from a few years ago, that are a beefed up 350 dually.

It is quite clear the RAM has separated the 2500 and 3500 SRW into separate categories with a very different rear air suspension between the two or coil springs on the 2500, including the lower ratings and no option for the HO engine.

In 2010 both 2/3500 had leafs. As far as coils vs leafs go on the newer trucks, that's accounted for in the 500 lb RAWR difference. - spoon059Explorer IITwo different beasts here... the OP was asking about a 2010, not the new frame style of the 2014+ 3/4 ton trucks.

Oh, and FWIW, I know a considerable amount about the trucks and suspension. That's one reason I don't agree with the mindset of "their almost the same". But I'm done with it and I apologize to the OP for getting drawn into the derailment of the thread. I've gotta show more restraint in the future!
