This thread is full of bunk. Keystone RV and quite a few other brands use neutral cure silicone caulk on all metal to metal, metal to fiberglass, or metal to plastic joints / seams. Basically everything on the sidewalls except the gutter rails to roof. The only place dicor is used is at a seam that involves roof membrane.
Keystone uses Tremco Trempro 645. Its not the silicone you buy at the big box. Dow Corning 790 is another good neutral cure silicone specified for vehicle applications.
As with a lot of things on RV boards you need to wade through the BS. Idiots tried in the past to put cheap acetic cure silicone they bought at Big Lots or Ollies over poly or something else, probably without any type of test or prep to know what they were dealing with, and it failed. Then they posted it on some RV board, and away it went LOL.
