11 days. 13 states in 2 countries trip part one

What a great family trip. We started our journey in south Florida on a 90 degree morning. We left at 11am and drove straight into Liberty RV park in Jersey City. We arrived at noon the following day set up and went to tour the Statue of Liberty.

Our spot.

The next day we took the water taxi into New York and visited ground zero. Talk about an emotional time...lots of dust in my eyes that day.

    mister pat,
I love the U.S. map with ONE state visitied on it. Just cracked me up. It could be taken two ways: 1. just getting started. 2. I've seen all I need to see right here in Jersey.
Did you know about the street in Manhattan that allows free camping on the street?
    regards, as always, jefe

I actually never heard of that street. Not somewhere I would go with my soft side pop top. Just because of the noise. Its actually 2 states as I also have NJ colored in. Its just such a small state. Hope to add more, just getting started in this. Happy Travels!
  • This is my favorite trip in reverse. I love Florida and start off in NY. Love the picture of the wife and kids in the subway, with the rest of the riders looking everywhere but at the camara. Typical Newyorker response. Brad Pitt could be hanging on the pole and they'de ignore him. Looking forward to the rest of the story.

  • There is so much to see in NY city. We spent 10 days there of fully filled days and barely scratched the surface.
Enjoy yourselves, it sounds like you have a great trip to come yet.
