110 Volt grounding ???
Why is the trailer metallic skin or metal frame parts not grounded back on 110 Volt. Is this because it is also the ground for the 12 volt system ??

Thought there might be a concern if a direct short occurs at the trailer chassis would a back feed through the tow vehicle through the common ground affect the sensitive ECM . I am hoping that the trucks computer has the isolator built into it.I guess a lot also depends on how good the camps grounding rod is??
