1/2 or 3/4 Ton? - Trying to decide.

I cnonly tell you what I did. I used a 1/2 ton chev 350 ci to pull a 25ft TT and it pulled it but it pinged so bad. a young girl ran into the side of the truck so I used that as an excuse to look at and buy a 3/4 ton HD with 4.10 gears and a 6.0 gas engine. that wreck was a blessing to us, the truck rides nice and pulls great. this was back in 02 and we still use the truck for towing. night and day difference and we only lost about a mile or two in gas usage. I personally would only buy a half ton is I wanted to haul one sheet of half inch plywood. these are my feelings and I'm sticking to it. by the way, after I got rid of the half ton they told me they put a new motor in the truck and sold it to a farmer
