If you are within the ratings for the truck and trailer, and you are comfortable... then go ahead and keep pulling with the Tundra.
I pull an R-Vision 30 foot Trail Cruiser. Dry Weight of 4370lbs. Measured weight of 5200 lbs full of gear (no water)
I pulled for a few trips with my 2012 GMC Acadia. It has a combined vehicle weight rating of 5200lbs for all passengers, cargo, and towed vehicle (excluding driver) I was right AT THE LIMIT for combined vehicle weight rating. My tongue weight was around 700 lbs. My Acadia is rated for 500lbs weight carrying and 1200 lbs weight distributing. I used the weight distributing hitch. I could not carry my family, bikes, water, extra gear. My wife had to follow in our other vehicle, but I was legal. It was always a white knuckle ride with such a short wheelbase.
Now I tow with a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.3 and I hardly feel the weight.
