Excuse me... Where have I ever said it was okay to tow behond the manufacturer's ratings?
If your contention is that a person stay within all manufacturer's ratings (and I'm not talking about the tow rating of the vehicle, as we know what a farce that is) then you and I have no differences on the matter...and I apologize for suggesting you believed otherwise.
As for tickets or accidents while towing, I too have yet to have one.
Let's hope both of us carry on that way far into the future.;)
