I am not sure it is the first time a 6.0L won back to back, but I do believe it is the first time with the same truck and driver. Although it is not the first time the same driver won it back to back. Lavon Miller did that in 2014-15 in his 04 Ram 3500 that he slapped a 6.7L CTD in.
I believe the guy in the video reported this was the second time for a back to back winner.
