That is my understanding as well.
However, IMHO, it is indeed equal to the USA LT type used by many folks on this forum on very large trailers.
There does not seem to be a uniform classification system throughout the world like ours and they get along just fine without the USA ST regs.
Our USA regs say to derate the load of a non-ST tire by 10%. That still leaves a better than ST load rating of 1448lbs(1609 x .9).
