Sorry, it is a Gm (Chevy) we would be buying. Haven't looked to see what is available for a GMC yet.
One advantage to go with the '14 is the '13's are getting very scarce around us!
MrKoje, the 2500 is the same for both years. Only the 1500 is all new for '14. The 2500 from what I have "heard" will only be the body for '15, with the same drivetrain (including 6.0 motor-latest rumor as the frame was all new in '11).
John & Golden- So true, you never know what the future holds! The future has plans right now that would probably keep us from buying another truck for 8-9 yrs minimum (twin boys-hoping to continue their education in Catholic High School in 4 yrs! And that doesn't inlcude college IF we decide to help there as well!). This is part of the hesitation because of them starting h.s. in 4 yrs, but I think if we stay to the "plan" we would have the truck paid off by then!
1old- Have talked some. Only hard number we haven't talked is the trade. We are eligible for the GMS employee pricing, so truck price is set. And as for trade vs sell outright, couldn't until we sold our current truck. Plus there is an additional $1500 rebate if we trade a Chevy truck in.
The biggest advantage right now that regardless which we go (I HOPE! Lol) with is that the truck is not a daily driver. We have owned our '10 since 5/10 and only have 31k mi so far! Most around town trips the 'Nox is used. There are times we take the truck just because it has been a couple weeks since last used (depending on the time of year-late fall thru early spring unless crappy Mi winter roads or going snowmobiing!).
TY!
Chris
