Cummins,
You're correct...There wasn't a government forced buy back for the 2014 due to this serious safety issue.
Stir, stir, stir... You are like the Energizer bunny, you know that?
That's what we Dooo. It's ok. I had a bone stock 08 F350 crew cab with like 30kmi on it get the shakes (death wobble) even though it ONLY happens to Dodges in some people's eyes.
Steering issues aside, in the almost 30 years I've been driving and wrenching on vehicles, I've yet to find more than a couple issues that were complete mysteries to me and typically IMO, mechanical issues aren't something that can't be diagnosed and corrected, they most often just don't get properly diagnosed and corrected.
Just like I'd never buy a refurbished computer because I don't know how to fix them, some folks don't know how to fix cars, thus the value of warranties. If I didn't know anything about mechanics I would t touch a buy back vehicle with a 10' pole.
If I could get an otherwise like new diesel pickup for $18k off sticker that ran out well and had title/warranty in tact, I'd buy it tomorrow.
Anyone have a '14 and up black 3500 mega cab diesel for sale with 6000miles for under $40k give me a call. I'll take it off your hands.
