One ton vans make great tow vehicles. Yes, the ford 15 passenger models have a longer overhang, not sure its really anymore than a long bed pick-up would have. I have an E350 in the standard length. They are cheap and everyone has plenty of room. Only thing I miss is a truck bed for dirty items. Another member on here tows with the 15 passenger version and likes it. I'm sure he will comment. The standard length version is avaiable to seat up to 12, meaning that 8 people could ride without having anyone in the center of a seat. You will miss your diesel fuel economy but the V10 has more than enough power for a 25' trailer.
