Don't go with another 1500 or better hitch hold out for 2500 you will not regret it... We are pulling all over Colorado this month with my 2500 and not once have we had a concern going up mountains or down the Chevrolet Duramax diesel was well worth the wait ... I'm not sure about other trucks but others will pipe in about another 2500 trucks I only know about my make and model...
