Go with a 3/4 ton truck. We started with a Ram 1500 EcoDiesel and switch to a Ram 2500 Diesel. No 1/2 truck is going to pull as nice as a 3/4 ton truck. The extra money for the 3/4 ton truck was well worth it to us.
