Yes. that is what I seen too! IF, that is the trailer he still has then he doesn`t need anything more than a 1500 and a good W/D hitch.
Again.....we need more info. to help you out. And what do you consider an "fancy hitch" a standard WD hitch or a Reese Dual Cam? or a Hensley Arrow or Pro Pride?
