This, this and this. Even if you don't go diesel, at least go 3/4. You will get so much more truck for your money.
The higher trim level trucks don't move the needle for me at all. The extra you pay is almost pure profit for the mfr, and I just don't value that stuff. I do like leather seats but I'll just wait till my cloth seats wear some and get aftermarket leather later on. Beyond that my truck has everything I want options wise, and it drives and pulls like a dream.
