1500 or 2500 Silverado

I've never been able to figure out what people meen by 'such a large truck'. 3/4-1 ton trucks are barely bigger than 1/2 tons. A full size truck is a full size truck IMO. I moved up from a 1/2 ton F150 to a Ram 2500. I don't notice anything bigger about the truck except the mirrors stick out a bit more. Get the tow mirrors on an F150 and they will stick out just as far.
Get the 2500 if you don't mind the hit on mpg when empty. I towed a 7300lb TT with both the F150 Maxtow and the Ram 2500. The Ram out performed the F150 in every category.
