Regarding the suitabilty of using a WD hitch on the aluminum framed livin lite, I am in the middle of an open conversation with the folks at the factory about that.
Let's be very clear though, my opinion is that each case should be considered carefully and specifically. In other words, if another potential buyer has specific questions or concerns, they would do well to talk to the factory themselves and be very consise in their questions. General questions tend to yield canned answers. But it has been my experience that when we take the time to frame our questions in ways that are specific to our use, then engineers are more willing to give specific replies.
For what it's worth, livin lite seems very open to discussing specifics regarding build of their trailers. That is encouraging when a company is willing to field questions and consider options.
If my good friend decides to buy one of these trailers, she is considering a custom build, so I have a number of questions on the table with livin lite, from wheel choice and size, tire choice, drop angle of the dexter axle, etc. If anybody else is interested, I will followup here.
