16' LivinLite Twin Bed Slide - WD on Aluminum Frame?

I am really liking the 16' LivinLite twin bed slide. However, the mfgr does not recommend a WD hitch. My tow vehicle is a 2013 Nissan Frontier. And I currently have a 16' Fun Finder with Equalizer hit...

Followup on my conversation with the folks at the livin lite factory. They confirmed that yes, the user can fit a weight distributing hitch if needed. The use of a "clamp on" style bracket on the trailer a-frame is recommended.

In other words, I will take that to mean the consumer should not drill holes in the trailer a-frame to attach the brackets.
