We have one we picked up in March. Start/Stop is the only thing I don't like. It tows our 7,000 LB camper with ease. MPG is very good empty and very bad while pulling the camper, which was to be expected.5,500 miles so far with no issues.
Kind of typical (mileage) for a gasoline motor of dimmunitive displacement.
My big V8 diesel drops maybe 2 mpg pulling. - theoldwizard1Explorer IIF150s have several different trailer towing/load options. Make sure you are getting what you need.
- snowedinExplorerMy 2017 F150 with 3.5 Ecoboost, 3.55 gearing, 10 speed transmission has been a great Tow Vehicle so far. My Lance 1985 only weights 4300# empty but power is no object. The transmission always seems to be in the right gear but at the same time does not shift frequently, does not hunt between gears. Gas mileage is not great, in the 10 to 11 mpg range. The vehicle is quiet, tows nicely. The only thing I would recommend is having the heavier duty LT tires instead of the P-rated tires that come with the truck. Auto Start/Stop is easy to bypass, I did it using YouTube instructions, a simple matter of one jumper wire on the switch.
