Now, even with the Jack-E-Up, I have to pad the jack base or the tailgate will rest directly on the base when open. Still better than only being able to open the tailgate 20-30 degrees when connected to the TT.

Point being, while the Jack-E-Up is a great product, It may not solve this problem depending on the WDH height.
If you blow up my signature pic, you can see how it will still interfere.
Thanks! I was hoping the 18" shank would stick out past the tailgate, but I don't think it will.
