Dec 19, 2014On my last truck I had 17s (31.6in) and my current has 20s (33in). Performance wise I can't say there's any difference between the two. Both trucks started out with Goodyear Wrangler SR-A and had the same comfort and performance level. Same goes with the The BF Goodrich Long Trail when the tires were switched to those.
The 20s just look better to me and have a height advantage over the last set. It does come at a cost. I pay about $40 more a tire for the 20s, but it seems I don't have to replace the 20s as quickly as the 17s. Maybe it has something to do with the RPM difference between the two sizes.
