I like the Conti's on my truck too. They are rated for both on and off road use, reasonably quiet, are technically regroovable, and wear well.
I just replaced the four HDR's on the rear of my truck, and they had almost 80K miles on them. They had way more than legal tread left, but they all had at least one plug in them (one tire had three), and one had a quarter-size chunk of tread missing. The tires were like that when I bought the truck, and I still put another 15k miles on them.
Before you decide on which tire you're going to buy, check the speed rating. Some of the 19.5's are kinda low.
