Well, I can vouch for the fact that my limited snow experience with them has not been stellar. I suspect a set of chains would improve that, though. :B
Nearly every mile of my wet road experience with them has been with the camper on the truck, and I've had no complaints at all. They might perform differently unloaded, or with less weight on them.
The Conti HSR steer tires have a closed shoulder, and can be used as drive tires if desired.
