I have the Mitchlen 245/70R19.5 XDE M/S, LOAD [single] 4940@120 psi, LRH. I think the weight implies it is G rated, but do not know that for sure. I have had mine since 2006, and have no intention of changing them until I see a problem.
Being 2WD, the 245's required some inner panel modifications to fit. That puts 265's out of the question for me. Additionally, the 265's would put my overall gear ratio too high. The 245's diameter is pushing it. Considering the 245's LOAD [single] 4940@120 psi, I see no advantage for my with the 265's. Each of the 245's Load capacity is greater than my TC weight.
I have not run other brands of the 19.5's, but would consider them. I have absolutely no issues with my Mitchlen 245/70R19.5 XDE M/S, other than cost. I probably could have done just as well with a non-M/S tire, for my use.
