- JIMNLINExplorer IIII've repainted old tractors and ag equipment so do yourself a favor and do a google and also some you tubes on the subject before painting. Lots of ideas out there.
Some folks want a quickie paint job to sell the RV in a couple of years and some folks want the paint job to last another 20-30 years. Prep prep prep for a lasting job.
I prefer Valspar Epoxy paints with a hardener and their primers and using a HVLP sprayer. - westendExplorerExterior aluminum siding?
Here's the process I used: Clean all surfaces to be painted with Jasco pre-paint conditioner (it removes oxidation). Mask off areas not to be painted. Caulk all joints with Geocel Tripolymer sealant. Prime with Sherwin Williams Industrial DTM primer. Paint with Sherwin Williams Superpaint exterior latex semigloss. Let paint cure a few days. Mask off accent color areas and striping. Paint accent colors and striping.
I used an airless sprayer and a fine tip, 411, IIRC.
