I'm about three days into un-posted work. I'll get that stuff up when I'm ready, but I'll say today that I'm currently working on a solution to my corroded aluminum sheet at the very bottom of the back wall.
My aluminum metal siding is apparently 24 gauge metal (see my corrective statement on the second post of this thread), or about .024" when sanded. I suppose I could find some diamond pattern metal at an RV or Mobile home salvage yard, but I've got me another idea I'm pursuing first.
My little roll of home center aluminum flashing is about .012", or 30 gauge metal. If that flashing is doubled up it equals .024". Harbor Freight has a 30" metal bending brake arriving Wednesday night with my name on it; those aren't used often in my line of hobby, but would sure be handy to have on hand when it's needed. And I gots me an idea.
