With my mom here for a visit, I'm only getting a little work done in the shop - which is just fine. But, I did get out there yesterday to haul in and clean up some donor camper windows and the entry door, for storing in the garage and for spare parts as needed. Yes, I'm getting close to working on the door and windows. That's exciting!
I also completed a little job that was left unfinished a few days ago, that of filling some exterior holes with the epoxy repair. Having pulled the wax paper down (which came of so easily - that's the way to do larger holes on vertical surfaces) I put up a couple of well placed masking tape and papers ABOVE the color band (to keep it off the new paint for now) and ran some 150 grit over the areas.
The end result is SO much better than having screws here at the license plate spot and that one repair hole above my lower metal patch area.
And I can't even BEGIN to describe how happy I am with THIS result - before and after.
