Sounds good. I took a look at it last night....I think I'm opening a can of worms...but I'm going to go for it. The spring eye bolts look pretty rusty...not surprising for a 25 yr old rig. Hopefully I can break them loose or just snap them with my impact gun...I'll spray them with some pb blaster before I start this job.
For jacking I guess I'll hook the rig up to my truck for stability and then Jack one side at a time jacking on the equalizer plate between the axles.
How much gap do y'all think I need between the tires and ground to account for the extra height after I do the relocation?
also, do I need to take both ends of the spring eye bolt out or can i just disconnect the ones near the equalizer pad and then relocate the axle to above the spring?
