You will probably need new bolts and bushings for the eyes and equalizers if this has been towed any at all. Your links may have elongated holes. All parts that are available. If you use the standard nylon bushings don't spend extra for greaseable bolts. Petroleum and the plastic type bushings don't play well together. I put "Never Fail" bushings in mine when I reworked them. I can't say how well they work as it's only been a year and I've not checked them.
I don't think you can do one side and then the other, I think it will bind up trying to move the axle with weight on the other side. You might get by doing one axle but you still need the height to reassemble.
