1993 Ford F150 can it tow a 24' 5th wheel over the Sierras?

We are new RV owners. Going To Mammoth Lakes from Modesto for a family camping trip. First time to tow our trailer. Pickup is not diesel. What route is the best way for us to tow to Mammoth Lakes....

Go 88, its no harder of a pull than 50. Dont go 89 through Markleeville, instead stay on 88 until you get to Centerville rd and go across to 395.
