this winter, i put a couple of tubs of damp-rid in the trailer, and when we opened up it was very nice and dry smelling inside. We winterized by draining everything and putting anti freeze in the toilet and traps, and it seemed to be fine. people say that hybrids require more maintenance, but I think the biggest worry is to make sure the ends aren't stowed when they are wet or damp - which I think would lead to rot, mildew and unpleasant smelling sleeping accomodations. I would rather deal with our hybrid tent ends than with a slide out though...for mainteance anyway.
