2 1/2" Receiver Hitch and 2" Equal-I-Zer Shank

I tow 6500 lbs with the Ram 2500 CTD with the adapter and don't hear any noise. The only thing that concerns me is forgetting to take out the adapter and losing it. I might paint an orange ring around the lip that sets the depth it will slide in.
