Lots of great info here. Thanks again to everyone! I will just continue to use the sleeve reducer.
Note about the noise, for the last two weeks I have been driving around with my WDH in the hitch and yes on bumps and stuff I can hear it rattling around but its not enough to bother me. If it ever is, I can always take it out.
As far as lining up the sleeve in the hitch I don't see an issue there either... Just stick the pin in the 2.5" hole and push in the sleeve while pushing in the pin and done. So simple, its just like the toy box my two year olds play with that has different holes in shapes of stars, squares and triangles
