This oil price crash is just the saudi's and others taking advantage of our free market system. As has been stated it takes a long time to ramp up infrastucter to drill and handle oil reserves. My oil drilling stocks have lost 75% more than offsetting any short term enjoyment at the gas pump. Fracking is great but its costly. American are by nature greedy with short term memories. Already they cannot build ford Navigators/Excursions fast enough. The 2500 pickups are gaining market share to the 1500 because they are cool not for work. I agree in a few years we will pay the piper and the cycle will repaet itself. As a footnote I did see the realestate crash coming, it was as predictable as the sun rising. I sold everything In advance and lived in a mobile home. When the crash peaked I bought as much as I could for cash and made a ton. Back in a nice house again and own 4 more all paid for.
