2 Low finally installed

Well now that the weather is a bit drier, I installed the BD Diesel "2 Low" switch I bought last fall. Tested and it works great. This means a lot less slipping of the clutch while backing up!

I am actually looking forward to backing into Host site #60 at LL Stub Stewart SP this year. Point of information this is backing uphill to the blind side. :B

It should be possible now with the newer Rams having a center axle disconnect again
    on the front axle.
  • I take it that Dodge has full time hubs from looking at what the mod does, correct or did I miss understand

  • That is a great mod! I had the same thing only made by PacBrake on my 98 4wd RAM.
  • Just looked that up. That's a pretty cool product. Too bad they don't just make trucks with 2 low anymore.

I agree that blind side backing is no fun. I used to have to do it at our previous storage facility. Never understood why they would design a place with only blind side backing.

Never been to Stub Stewart. Looks like a great park with lots of trails. Those campsites look huge. I'd love to check out the Banks Vernonia trail.
