2 Travel Trailers?

Anyone ever keep 2 trailers at the same time? I just ordered a 2015 Jayco Eagle 338RETS and am thinking of keeping my old Hornet in my hometown, 1200 miles away, for use during short trips to family, usually several trips annually. The Hornet is paid for and in great shape and it seems that it would save quite a bit of fuel not towing back and forth. I can sell it anytime but just thinking. Does this sound crazy?

    Never did it but if it works, why not? No different than having a trailer and a vacation home. Many people have that.

    If it's added convenience for you, how can it be bad? I'm sure there are some considerations like insurance, maintenance, etc - but if you can find a need for it, what could be the down side?

    Not to me. If I had room I would get a nice fiver and a TC.
    Different RV's have different uses!
