My first '95 Cummins Ram had a burning coil smell on the way home from the dealer. Next day at work before dealer appointment, it wouldn't start. Being a mechanic myself, I surmised it was the fuel shut off solenoid, tied it up with a ty-rap and proceeded to the dealership. Picked it up several days later. Four Cummins Rams later and a Hemi powered 2500HD, I finally went back to a Ford. First truck I've owned in many years that I'm not anxious for any reason to trade for something else.
