2000 Fleetwood Mallard 29s water heater question

Hey everyone , I’ve got a 00 Mallard 29s with the factory dometic gas / electric water heater . Since we purchased it we’ve only been able to get the electric element to heat , no the gas portion ...

Well, I took a look at the water heater and I don’t see any knobs or switches for a pilot light. This is a picture of what I’ve got .
