Not overpriced!
This past early fall, the 1997 Lance Squire 4000 9-1/2 ft we had ordered new and had driven with/used it over 140,000 miles total on 2 different trucks including to Alaska more than once and all over the USA and Canada etc and had sold it in Sept 2009 to a friend was resold for $5850 final price.
6 years older and one model stepdown with a lot less options than the 2003 the OP is looking at and still sold for $5850 a few months ago! Fact, NOT opinion!
We know the person who bought it the second time and have their phone number because they called us to find out if we had any problems with it while we owned it for the 12 years before a friend of ours bought it from us. Our friend gave the buyer our name and phone number with our permission and he had called us.
It has no awnings or generator as we have a Honda EU2000 we used and so did our friend, but it has the 3 way fridge, storm windows, oven, microwave, outside shower, electric jacks, N/S bed, 7200 BTU A/C, the Beautyrest upgrade mattress and the TC is still in good shape and everything works. The seller (our friend) bought a new larger Lance and was selling the 1997. Seller was asking $6000 for it and got $5850.
