Dodge Guy is right about the 47 and 48 trannys. I don't remember the last one I sold. I would be concerned about the V10 specific parts on that truck however. The manufacturers are discontinuing things quicker these days, and a lot of that stuff is gone. It was a pretty low selling option, whereas there a zillion 8.1s out there. The problem with the Chevy won't be the drive train, it'll be all the electrical supporting stuff. Window regulators, window switches that have to be programmed, etc and so on. Watch the brake and fuel lines, and if the rear brakes are disc with the emergency shoes inside of them good luck getting the rotors off if you need to. Half the mileage and cheaper for the Dodge makes it a tough call.
