Tow rating is a mfg. marketing ploy full of caveats & fine print.....a 150# driver and 20# cargo. In other words meaningless.
Dry weights are also meaningless cause no one tows a trailer empty (which is what trailer dry weight is)
That 4100# dry weight Jayco probably weighs in at 6000# when loaded up ready to go camping.
Right now you have a good towing match/combo
Will you be able to tow the heavier trailer...YES
Will you enjoy towing it.......probably not
GO weigh your truck/current trailer.......with everybody/all stuff/camp ready
Weigh combo and then just truck
With those weigh numbers you will have a mch better idea on how much room (if any) you have left based on GVWR, GCVWR, AWRs, payload capacity etc.
Better to know the numbers than spend $$ on new trailer guessing it will be OK
