2005 ram 2500 4x4 quad vs. 2006 ram 1500 quad 4x4

boost- I did spend about 30 minutes in the parking lot with my big wrenches adjusting the wd system and lowering the hitch being this dodge 1500 was much higher off the ground than my current Tahoe.
Overall it towed much better than my short wheelbase Tahoe, but I still felt my 6,700 trailer pushed this 1500 ram around slightly.
On occasion I tow with my fathers 2013 2500HD and my travel travel doesn't stand a chance pushing around that heavy truck. I think I am just going to hold out for a 2500 truck.
