2007 Fleetwood Avalon Wiring Problem

We overpacked the cabinet area directly under the sink in our Fleetwood Avalon. Unfortunately, there we two wire connections that came disconnected and there's no obvious evidence of which was connected to which. Coming out of the rear wall of the cabinet is a White wire and there's also a Black & Yellow wire. From the left sidewall, nearest the microwave is a Yellow wire and a Red wire. They're difficult to trace back because of limited space. I'd appreciate if anyone can advise which to connect to which.
Thanks!
  • Hard to tell. What doesn't work?.. the colored wires sound like thermostat wires perhaps but there doesn't appear the thermostat ison that side
  • black/yellow maybe to the kill switch for the roof lights so they do not come on when the roof is down. Do your roof lights work?
  • Mine is an '06 and a Sequoia but I can take a peek.

If you can take a picture of it and post it so we can see, location can help determine as well. What type of connector is used that allow for disconnecting them?

BTW, what has stopped working as a result of this?

    What comes to mind is:
    - master overhead light switch
    - radio, if equipped
    - thermostat control wiring
    - mystery pass-through wiring
  • Thank you for the ideas. I'll take a photo this weekend and I'll also check those lights and the radio. I'll post the photos in a few days.
  • When I looked last night, I found a yellow black and a purple black. Those went to the master overhead light switch. The only other bundle of wiring was for the radio, which had at least six wires going to and fro.

It doesn't sound like I can give you anything to go on from my Fleetwood.

I do have a PDF of some wiring diagrams with has a few models in it, but not an Avalon. There is a wiring diagram for "2005-present Niagara" that might reveal some info for you. Send me a PM if you are interested and I can email it to you.
