2008 ford?

My son is looking for a TV and stumbled across a 2008 ford 3500 srw crew,king ranch interior .its only got 29000 actual miles and the price is where even Chevy guys like us are thinking.its an estate selling off.
We don't really know any of the down sides to this model,are they 6.4l?any real bad service issues?Thanks.

    Far better than the 2008 6.4, Ford engine 6.7 showing up as far better than the 6.0 and 6.4's and far better mileage that the 6.4 (fuel hog).
    Mileage (high) should never be a concern with a diesel, but Ford changed that with the 6.0 and 6.4!

    I've got a 2009 Lariat approaching 100k. No problems with mine.
