We have the 2007.5 (same as the 2008). Great truck. I have had no issues with the tranny lines leaking. We tow a 12K(empty) fiver with the B & W Companion as well as a 30' horse trailer using the goose-neck configuration. Looks like all you will need to buy will be the "Companion" and your good to go. Someone mentioned this model has the DPF and they are right. We have had no issues with our DPF and it does a "re-gen" about every 400 to 500 miles. There is a place in Connecticut now that refurbishes DPFs for a fraction of the cost of purchasing a new one. The DPF may be a reasonable concern, but I wouldn't make it the determining factor, as I know several drivers who have several hundred thousand miles on their trucks with no DPF issues.
