- Grit_dogNavigatorSame concept, different truck. Not particular to the brand of truck. Unless I didn’t understand the question.
- LwiddisExplorer IIAren’t electric pumps required between fuel tanks? For positive shutoff in a crash?
- ivbinconnedExplorer III know it’s the same “concept”. Like I said I have done a number of Ford and Ram trucks. In some years though they will never overfill the stock tank and leak. Like in an 06 Ram.
My question is weather a GM product will leak without the use of a gravity flow control valve? - Grit_dogNavigator

They all need a check valve for “automatic” filling afaik. - larry_barnhartExplorerMy 55 gal inbed tank switches over with a toggle switch on my sash and fuel gauge still works for either tank and also fuel used. Had it made when our 05 truck was new do march 06 before we headed home it was made and installed. We really have enjoyed what it does for us. chevman

Very convenient as well. Curious how the gauge works running off the slip tank?
