We towed our 23' Airstream with a 150HP, 93 Nissan Quest for years. No problems, worked great. The much more capable Honda Oddy has close to 300HP. If you actually tried one as a TV you would find it works well.
Unless your only basis for comparison is the Quest or you never go over 45mph I can't imagine this being the case. As mentioned I towed a low profile 12ft box pop-up and it was okay, but stepping up to 1/2 ton pick up towing the same trailer showed me that I was probably on the edge with the Pilot. Power was never an issue but there was a huge difference in stability by moving to my Sierra 1500 ccsb with the 5.3 and towing mileage actually improved from 13 to 14 with the same trailer.
