Good choice of passing on the 2011 6.7Ford...I had one...it was a bigger POS than the 6.0 Ford I traded in...my story is well documented...and my HPFP failure repair cost was $10,300.00...keep in mind as you contemplate buying any 6.7 Ford, they use a fragile HPFP that can and will grenade itself at times...and warranty from Ford on HPFP's is difficult to obtain...ask me how I know...
The Blue Koolaid Crowd will be along shortly to try to defend Ford's reprehensible behavior...some will even question my integrity...the Blue Koolaid is strong...beware...
GM uses the same HPFP on their 2011 and newer Duramax diesel but they warranty all HPFP failures, no argument or attempt to screw the customer...and then there is Ram...a solid performer with an excellent reputation...
